About Paraiso Cave

The pool can look deceptively shallow because the water is extremely clear, but published visitor information describes parts of it as several feet deep. Non-swimmers should be particularly careful and should not enter deep water without appropriate flotation support.

Unlike some of the more rugged caves in Camotes, Paraiso Cave is relatively developed for visitors, with resort facilities, huts and a restaurant around the attraction.

Travel Tips

  • Aqua shoes or sandals with good grip — cave surfaces can be wet and slippery.
  • Swimwear and extra clothes if you plan to swim.
  • Waterproof phone pouch or dry bag for your valuables.
  • Towel and drinking water.
  • Insect repellent and sunscreen for the outdoor areas.
  • Cash in small bills — carrying cash is generally recommended when touring Camotes.
